Hey everyone! Welcome to our video tutorial. In this tutorial we’re going to teach
you how to play American Roulette. American Roulette essentially follows
the same rules as normal Roulette, except that American Roulette has two
“zero” pockets instead of just one. As you can see on this table, American
Roulette offers the exact same bets as any other Roulette variant. Let’s launch
a new game by placing a “low bet” which is a bet on the first half of the table
which are the numbers 1 to 18. And unfortunately we didn’t
win because the ball landed on the number 28. But let’s play again.
This time we’ll play a “straight-up” bet on the number 19. And we lost. But let’s play one final time. A cool thing you can do in American Roulette –
and in any other roulette variant – is to place multiple bets at once. Let’s
place a “low bet” as well as a bet on “red”. And since the ball landed on the
number 8 we won our first bet. However, since the 8 of black
number, we lost our second bet. As you can see, American Roulette is
played exactly the same as any other roulette variant, with the only difference
being that an American Roulette wheel contains two “zero” pockets instead of
just one. In case you didn’t know, the “zero” pockets are in place to give the casino
an edge. This is because each time the ball lands in a “zero” pocket, the player will lose.
In roulette games with two “zero” pockets players have lower winning chances than
in roulette games with only one “zero” pocket. So if the casino offers both American
and European Roulette, you should always play European Roulette because European
Roulette only has one “zero” pocket. Check out our additional video tutorials
