Ever wanted to get into slots, but not known
how to? In this video, we’ll be running down the basics rules of video slots and giving
you all you need to know to start spinning those reels. Slots work by the player spinning reels made
up of symbols. Reels are the columns of the slot. Slots can vary in how many reels they
have and how many rows of symbols are on each reel. A slot is controlled by the spin button.
The spin button will spin the reels which will then land on certain symbols. Before each spin, the player bets an amount
of money, wagering that they end with lines of symbols They player wins if 3 or more symbols line
up along a payline. The amount won depends on the value of the symbol landed on and the
size of the wager. Some symbols may only return 50%, whilst others may win you 100 times what
you bet. Different slots have different symbols and different values for each symbol. So remember
to always read the paytable before starting any slot game to find this information out. Modern slots don’t have actual reels that
spin, but instead randomly generate the symbols on each reel. When the reels are spinning,
what is actually happening is the slot is selecting which symbols should appear on which
reels. This is completely random, in contrast to physical slot machines which have a set
order to the symbols on the reels. This means it’s really impossible to predict what might
come up next. So now you know the basics how to play slots;
how you spin, what you’re aiming for and a little of what’s happening when it spins.
