One more time. Half the field, double the football, triple the fun. It’s called indoor football and Tucson will be the home of a new professional expansion team next spring. Indoor football takes place in the off season from the NFL before the games start and after the draft. It’s not competing for fans it’s giving fans more of what they love. MUSIC Think of it this way, indoor football is to regular football what the Sonoran hot dog is to a regular hot dog. APPLAUSE Seven football games will be held in the Tucson Arena with ticket prices ranging from $15 to $100. While the general concept of the game is the same as traditional football, there are some differences. The game is four quarters. Generally you play, I mean in college football the games are 3 1/2, 4 hours. We’re two, two and a half when it’s all said and done. Eight on eight, so eight players against eight players. The roster is 21 players. The goal posts are only 10 feet across so that’s not easy. Our game is high scoring, fast paced, the fans will be able to be interactive with the players. After the games we let all the fans down on the field. They come down they sign autographs, the players sign autographs. they get to meet the coaches they get to meet the coaches the players and you get to reach out and touch ’em and have personal relationships and that just doesn’t happen you know in, in the NFL at all. First kickoff is planned for March 2019, but before that can happen, the new Tucson indoor football team needs a name. Go on our website www.tucsonindoorfootball.com We’re gonna allow fans to come up with two names and colors. We’re then gonna have to start huddling and what name works for Tucson.
